The booking process, step by step
First, tell us your preferred dates, group size and the package you are considering. We confirm availability with Viking and hold a provisional place. You then pay a deposit to confirm the booking, and the balance is due before the trip. Once confirmed, you receive joining details, a kit list and travel guidance for reaching Siglufjörður.
When to book: how far ahead
The Iceland heliski season runs from about mid-March to mid-June, and it is short. Peak April and May weeks are the first to go. For the best choice of dates and package, book six to twelve months in advance; late availability does appear but should not be relied on for a specific week.
Deposit and payment terms
A deposit secures your dates when you confirm, with the remaining balance payable before departure. We set out the exact figures and dates in writing so there are no surprises, and we never ask for card details over chat or email.
Booking direct versus through an agent

What you need to book
To confirm, we need your dates, the number of skiers, and a sense of ability so we match you to the right group and terrain. Flights, travel insurance and personal ski gear are arranged separately; the package covers guiding, safety equipment, accommodation and in-programme transfers.
